Getting Here

DRIVING : Follow Gage Avenue south of Main Street East, to Lawrence Road and enter the park at the Roselawn Lawn Bowling Club (50 Lawrence Rd). Parking is located between the clubhouse and the Gage Park bandshell. (NOTE: Park access from this lot is limited because of construction work on the Gage Park Tropical Greenhouse. You can reach the bandshell from the west end of the parking lot.)

From Niagara Region: Take the QEW to the Red Hill Valley Parkway. Take the King Street exit and continue through the King Street intersection on to Lawrence Road. Continue on Lawrence Road and enter Gage Park at the Roselawn Bowling Club.

From GTA: Take the QEW to Hwy 403 and exit at Main Street East. Continue east to Gage Avenue, then turn south (right) on Gage and continue to Lawrence Road. Enter Gage Park at the Roselawn Bowling Club.

From Guelph: Take Hwy 6 to Hwy 403 and exit at Main Street East. Continue east to Gage Avenue, then turn south (right) on Gage and continue to Lawrence Road. Enter Gage Park at the Roselawn Bowling Club.

From KItchener-Waterloo: Take Hwy 403 eastbound and exit at Main Street East. Continue east to Gage Avenue, then turn south (right) on Gage and continue to Lawrence Road. Enter Gage Park at the Roselawn Bowling Club.

TRANSIT : The HSR has a number of different buses that drive by Gage Park. 5 Delaware eastbound and westbound stops at Gage and Cumberland (a short walk west of the bandshell) as well as Lawrence at Gage Park, at the entrance of the parking lot; 1 King stops at Gage and Main (eastbound) and Gage & Main (westbound), at the northwest corner of the park.

CYCLING: SoBi Hamilton has a bike share depot located near Gage and Maplewood. Visit their website for rental details. You will find a PDF map of urban cycling routes here and an interactive cycling map here .  Cumberland Avenue is a quiet east-west cycling route that is signed but not separated, running from Wentworth to Gage.  The two-way protected bike lanes of the Cannon Street Cycle Track pass 500m north of Gage Park; follow Gage Avenue South toward the Escarpment and you can't miss the park. For a scenic cycling route connecting with the Gage Park, consider the Gage & Devil's Punch Bowl route, which threads through Downtown Hamilton, the East Mountain and Stoney Creek.
